Saboteur Awards Book Fair

Saboteur Awards 2013 Mini-Book Fair

Hello, indie publisher! Or maybe you’re an author who has self-published? Or maybe you’ve just got some books/zines/pamphlets to sell? We might have something of interest to you…

You’ve probably heard of the Saboteur Awards birthday party we’re holding on May 29th, over at the Book Club, London (doors open at 7pm). It’ll be ace. Not just because you’ll be there, but also because we’ll be handing out some awards to celebrate the best of this year’s indie publishing.

As part of the festivities, we’ll have music, performances, a critique booth, and a mini-book fair. It’s a fair you might be interested in, if you want to get your books out to just the right people. If something you’ve published has been nominated for (or even won) a Saboteur Award, then everyone in the party will want to grab themselves a copy. Even if you don’t get nominated, you’ll have a room full of people who are bound to be interested in what you’ve got to offer.

Plus, we’re laying on music and plenty of performance poetry, so it’s bound to be a fun night.

Here are a few details. We’re offering stalls at the mini-book fair for publishers (ie. people with books to sell). Each stall costs a fiver for the night, and that includes your entry to the event itself (normally £7). Doors will open at 7pm on May 29th, and we’ll be running until late, so you’ve loads of time to enjoy yourselves and get your work out there.

If you’re interested, do get in touch with our event organizer Thea Buen quickly (events at sabotagereviews dot com), as there’s a limited number of stalls – once they’re gone, they’re gone!
