Saboteur Award 2023: Nominations now open!

The Saboteur Awards are back for another year, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce that nominations for 2023 are now officially open!

Our categories this year include Best Spoken Word Performer, Best Short Story Collection, Best Collaborative Work, Best Magazine, Best Novella, Best Literary Festival, Best Anthology, Best Spoken Word Show, Best Poetry Pamphlet, Best Reviewer of Literature, Most Innovative Publisher, and Best Regular Spoken Word Night. This year’s awards are going to be about creating conversations and ideas to connect across the country, with the talented writers, performers, publishers and creatives nominated by their communities will have the opportunity to come together and celebrate the Arts.

Nominations will be open from April 24th until May 24th (noon). Once nominations are closed, the second phase of voting will be open from May 25th (noon) to June 19th (Midnight). The Award ceremony will take place on June 24th 2023.

So, what are you waiting for? Head on over to the Saboteur Awards form here to nominate your favourites for each category. Don’t miss the chance to support your favourite writers and performers, and make sure they get the recognition they deserve. We can’t wait to see who makes it to the finals this year!

And if you want to join us for the big event, tickets to all festival events are available now for just £10! The festival will be online this year, but the award ceremony itself will be live in Birmingham.
