We are looking for volunteers to help us with our 2020 Festival and Awards!
What it will involve
For the 2020 Festival and Awards, we’re on the look-out for people in the Birmingham area who can help with tasks like:
- Managing panel/workshop/performance spaces
- Checking tickets
- Welcoming guests and visitors
- Helping to set up the venue, and
- Help to make the event(s) as accessible as they can be!
We’re looking for friendly faces who want to make this festival the best it can be. Your help can be as simple as opening a door for someone or giving a visitor directions!
We’ll be looking for daytime volunteers – to help with the festival events – and evening volunteers to help with the awards ceremony itself. If you have a preference between daytime and nighttime hours, please do let us when you submit your application.
Who we are looking for
If you like talking to people and love indie literature, then you sound perfect! We’re very keen to recruit from as wide a pool as possible, so please get in touch if you want to know more. If you have access or mobility requirements, let us know so that we can place you in the best-suited environment.
