Announcement: Meet our new Assistant Director!

Firstly, the Sabotage Reviews team would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who registered their interest in the Assistant Director role. It was wonderful to talk through the future of Sabotage with so many voices. Although it did make for some tough decisions along the way! However, after CVs, chats and future planning, we’re delighted to announce the new Assistant Director of Sabotage Reviews is…

Heddwen shared some of her thoughts on joining the team, commenting:

“I am absolutely delighted to be joining the Sabotage team. As Assistant director, I hope to support the team and learn everything I can about the Sabotage Reviews and the Saboteur Awards. With the prospect of working with current director, Charley Barnes, I’m particularly interested in working together to build long term support for Sabotage and continue to grow what is already a brilliant organisation. I’m so excited to be part of something that uplifts and celebrates the hard work and talent of the independent arts industry, and I can’t wait to get started!”

In the Assistant Director role, Heddwen will be working closely with Charley and the rest of the team over the coming months. She will assist in the planning and organisation of the Saboteur Awards Festival 2021 and, once that event is complete, she will takeover entirely as Director of the organisation.

The Sabotage Reviews team is so excited to be welcoming Heddwen aboard, and together we can’t wait to collaborate, expand and steer Sabotage somewhere new and exciting.
